I have a question, will appreciate if you guys guide me.

I want to increase the timing of the Time locker device. What is the most effective and cheapest way?
There is a product in the market
I can set the timer up to 15 days to lock our different items (cookies, games, phones etc). The container will be opened when the set time finishes.
What if we I want to increase the timer upto 3 months or 6 months or year (current capacity upto 15 days) What changes need to be made in PCB circuit board?

Thanks in advance

The design is most likely proprietary and probably not easy to modify or reverse-engineer.
Might be easier to design your own timer for it!

The device is based on a microcontroller running a program. At a minimum the device would have to be re-programmed. The problem with that is that the uC probably was programmed before installation, so there is no programming connector on the pc board. Without photos, just guessing.

You could take the signal to the open solenoid, break the connection,
and build a "pulse" extender circuit that would effectively multiply the
pulse delay.

But short answer get a time of day timer, they are cheap, can set
date/time...... on many out > 1 year.
