So I've been using those cheap Chinese breadboards and I'm sick of trying to figure out my circuits issues only to be a loose connection or so. Now I want to buy a new breadboard, high quality and suitable price tag (Not talking about 3M here) and I think I found something, the Jameco Valuepro . Please advise, is this a good breadboard?
Also, what are you guys using?

Proto with this for soldered connections and low freq RF capability.

Regards, Dana.
Great idea, but each one of those pads is a 5-10pF capacitor to ground. If you don't design for this extra capacitance, your RF circuits will never work as you want. Also, you need a rubber grommet where the lines come thru.

A grommet to prevent the sharp metal of the box cutting into the wire.

I have made a few things in a box like above but with "birds nest" construction. All the parts are soldered together with just their leads supporting them.
For semi permanent construction, have you tried the various types of perf board?
