I noticed today the number of posts attributed to me were suddenly decreased, it appeared to coincide with a Thread closure (not my OP), it had happened before but I had never connected it to any thing in particular, doesn't seem right somehow?
I can see it if the thread is deleted, but the posts are still visible?
I have never come across this happening on any other forum?

It can happen that when you replied to a spammer and the spammers thread is removed, that the post you made is decreased on your post count.
I do not know if closing a thread (wich I did in the fleamarket) will decrease the postcount.

Mmmhhhh... maybe the mafia had something to do with it... they send in their thugs and say "this never happened" or "you saw nothing"

I just happened to notice the count today and then a while later it had dropped by 7 posts, I was curious as to why??

You will note it was moved to off topic. I'm not sure what the OP was after, I'm not sure if she knew either.

 

Start a nonsense thread. Have everyone post once or twice and note their number of posts. Then have a moderator delete it.

That will tell you if the deletion of a thread caused the problem.
