New Orleans officials can sexually harass workers so long as productivity doesn't decline
The stunningly retrograde decision comes as part of an order reinstating former Clerk of Council Lora Johnson, who was fired last year after she was found by the New Orleans City Council to have engaged in a decade-long campaign of harassment of employees.

The commission, which is essentially the Human Resources department for city government, also ordered Johnson be given nearly a year in back pay.

The commission did not question those findings against. In fact, they explicitly acknowledge the city council proved Johnson had assaulted employees over an 11-year period.

I would love being in the HR class explaining that and giving good/bad examples:

DEA: Cartels using children to distribute fentanyl in Portland

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The DEA at a news conference Tuesday revealed that cartels are exploiting children to distribute fentanyl and other drugs in Portland.
The joint news conference was held Tuesday afternoon between the Portland Police Bureau, Multnomah Co. DA’s Office, US Attorney’s Office, Multnomah Co. Sheriff’s Office, DEA and FBI to announce a partnership to crack down on fentanyl in Portland.
The Special Agent in Charge for the DEA, Seattle Field Division, David Reames announced at the news conference that Honduran drug trafficking organizations are working with the Sinaloa Cartel, one of the most powerful and violent drug trafficking organizations in the world, to flood the Pacific Northwest with fentanyl.

Agent Reames added, these traffickers had been exploiting children by using them to sell dangerous drugs in Portland, Seattle and other cities.
“The fentanyl seized by our team in this case could have yielded over 1.5 million lethal doses – enough to kill everyone in Portland twice,” said David F. Reames, Special Agent in Charge, DEA Seattle Field Division. “I am proud that DEA could help our partners bring this surge to a successful conclusion, saving lives here in Portland and throughout Oregon.

“The public’s significant interest in restoring natural habitats, preventing catastrophic wildfires, and preserving the overall health of Deschutes National Forest is not outweighed by the interest of 150 or so individuals in residing on this particular plot of land,” he wrote in his ruling."
