That would also be cheating.
Define Cheating. If you ask me, the guy in #4476 is cheating.
This is a symptom, as an engineer you must surely wonder about the cause...Welcome to free everything NYC, now, go away!
Sure, a insane lack of border security would be at the top of my list combined with people making money on the illegal alien Express. This is a symptom, as an engineer you must surely wonder about the cause...
Ha, if only it were that simple! Thousands streaming over the border is also a symptom. A symptom of successive administrations undermining democracy in the South, supporting brutal dictators and military dictatorships. Poor old USA always the victim, always suffering as it struggles to do the right thing.Sure, a insane lack of border security would be at the top of my list combined with people making money on the illegal alien Express.
Then we have those that exploit them when they are here but that couldn't happen if they weren't here in the first place.
The border has always been Porus for needed workers. The thing is, these new immigrants don't want to just be anywhere in America and they damn sure don't want to stay in places like Texas. The Central and South Americans don't want to stay in Mexico and the Mexicans don't want them to stay either.I see it as a simple problem of supply and demand.
Birthrate in North America has dramatically slowed down in the past 50 years, and now an ageing population requires people that can provide basic services. But there are very few nationals willing to work in those fields. And Central and South America have more than enough population to meet some of that demand. Plus their poverty rate is so high that quite a few are willing to risk it all to try to improve the quality of their lives. Compound that with a vicious cycle of social aid to those who are unwilling to work, plus scarce worker availability and draconian immigration laws, and you get the mess that the whole continent is currently in.
Fixing this conundrum would require improving economic and social conditions in Central and South America through a basic reeducation that highlights the virtues of honesty and legality, plus promoting of the nuclear family in North America so that it could raise its birthrate again. But what's being pushed instead is euthanasia and sterility. And that applies to Europe too.
I don't see things getting better in the foreseeable future ...
I don't see how that explains the fact that mass migration is a global problem and many of the migrants to the US are from countries that are not south of the border.Ha, if only it were that simple! He's spouting nonsense from that well known, rich, anarcho-syndicalist and libertarian socialist, creator of nonsense, Noam Chomsky.I don't see how that explains the fact that mass migration is a global problem and many of the migrants to the US are from countries that are not south of the border.
The impact of globalization is widespread, poverty has ramped in many parts of the world thanks to the powerful nations stripping them. The World Bank and IMF are notorious for spreading poverty, really it is primarily the exploitative West that has led to what we see today.I don't see how that explains the fact that mass migration is a global problem and many of the migrants to the US are from countries that are not south of the border.
Everything I say is based on easily verified information, if you dispute something Chomsky says for example then say so, say why, back it up, you're an engineer, I shouldn't have to tell you this. Writers like Chomsky or Chossudovsky and so on base their positions on facts, you can check these facts and if you find a lie please share it, emphasis on what follows is mine:He's spouting nonsense from that well know, rich, anarcho-syndicalist and libertarian socialist, creator of nonsense, Noam Chomsky.
Nonsense? far from it, sad truth more like, right there is the cause of mass migration, no surprise, totally foreseeable and warned about since the 1950s.It just depends on which people you’re talking about. The World Bank came out with a study on Latin America which warned that Latin America was facing chaos because of the extraordinarily high level of inequality, which is the highest in the world (and that’s after a period of substantial growth). Even the things the World Bank cares about are threatened.
The inequality didn’t just come from the heavens. There was a struggle over the course of Latin American development back in the mid-1940s, when the new world order of that day was being crafted.
The State Department documents on this are quite interesting. They said that Latin America was swept by what they called the "philosophy of the new nationalism," which called for increasing production for domestic needs and reducing inequality. The basic principle of this new nationalism was that the people of the country should be the prime beneficiary of the country’s resources.
The US was sharply opposed to that and came out with an economic charter for the Americas that called for eliminating economic nationalism (as it’s also called) in all of its forms and insisting that Latin American development be "complementary" to US development. That means we’ll have the advanced industry and the technology and the peons in Latin America will produce export crops and do some simple operations that they can manage. But they won’t develop economically the way we did.
Given the distribution of power, the US of course won. In countries like Brazil, we just took over-Brazil has been almost completely directed by American technocrats for about fifty years. Its enormous resources should make it one of the richest countries in the world, and it’s had one of the highest growth rates. But thanks to our influence on Brazil’s social and economic system, it’s ranked around Albania and Paraguay in quality of life measures, infant mortality and so on.
more than globalization,it's due to "New World Order" policy by weakening independent countries, bringing wars/chaos/coups and supporting stupid politicians to rule over other world's people. The impact of globalization is widespread, poverty has ramped in many parts of the world thanks to the powerful nations stripping them. The World Bank and IMF are notorious for spreading poverty, really it is primarily the exploitative West that has led to what we see today.
You'll be telling us you're a Donald Trump fan next. He's spouting nonsense from that well known, rich, anarcho-syndicalist and libertarian socialist, creator of nonsense, Noam Chomsky.
