I liked your comment because my post could qualify as being on the edge of positive thought ... and I say on the edge because one has to know when to quit, or at least change course.Insanity: trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result each time.
The difference between stubbornness and perseverance is the end result. It's cruel, but it's true. If one succeeds after many, many travails, one will be remembered as a perseverant character. If one fails, then one will be judged as stubborn.
Only a cool and clear perspective of the means available to attain a proposed goal can guarantee success. Or at least avoid failure. Then again, sometimes we see opportunities where everyone else sees a cliff.
It's called wisdom. And it comes with experience.
