I once had an argument with someone about the nature of facts, where he was claiming that you will die if you fell off the roof of a 20 story building, and I tried to point out that there were not enough parameters to be a "fact".

So what if you fall off the building and land right onto a lower roof 1 story down?

Never could get my point across.

Quite interesting. The study looks at number of surviving children as the outcome. Difficult to draw any conclusions.
