Maybe I am predisposed but the few office rooms (mostly in USA) built in containers I met, had too strong air conditioners but you could feel the heat coming from the ceiling. I am not the best one to judge.

Besides that, not sure about final costs.
With temperature rising every year, I think it would only get worse.

Where have you been?
Learning to play the so many, I guess.
Heh... nice one.

I guess I've been growing up. I became a PhD student, got a girlfriend, got more miscellaneous responsibilities... you know, life happened.
Plus my interests shifted a bit from electronics to robotics.

I've been visiting about once a year to see how are the fellow mods doing, but it's always a hit and run.

This time I promised to stay around for a week or so... feels nice. We'll see how much I'll last.

Yopu will have to change your name then to Dr. Georacer. ;)

How many different types of backgammon games do you have over there? Here we have majorly 3, including the well-known game played in every online site. We don't use the "double-up" feature, though.
Just one type. I discovered there was a second type while visiting Paris about 25 years ago, in which there were pegs around the perimeter of the board, but I never learned how it was played.

Glad to hear you're doing well ... especially about the girlfriend part ;) ... seriously now, it's good to see you're back.

I think I'll go with Dr. Z, from my last name's initial. More catchy ;)

Tell you what, before we cross that bridge I'll hand you a couple of coupons for Taco Bell first, so you can taste what really bad Tex-Mex junk food's like. ;):D

Don't worry I know what it tastes like. Why I don't eat there. ;)

Actually Dell Taco (not sure if they still exist) is not awful.
