Look, greenhouse emissions are down in NA. They've been declining in America for a decade and are now at the levels of the early nineties. You want to jump nasty on someone? Do it to the developing world that wants to rise from poverty to a modern US level of living and energy consumption in the next decade. The increase in global carbon emissions will all be coming from the developing world. Actual climate science and Greta are miles apart.

Neat, some video of double stroke lightning strikes. Yes, lightning does strike twice. Had it happen to a tree just ~20-30' from the house. Startled me so bad I literally lifted off the chair and about the time my ass came back down to the chair it struck again. Massive light and sound inside the house and my suppression systems prevented any EMF damage. Shredded a massive/old Long Leaf Yellow Pine leaving a bare strip down it where it blew the bark and wood off.

She said that money and eternal economic growth are “fairy tales.” It's all part of the vegan environmental apocalyptic prophets conspiracy.
I wonder how long she practiced the single left brow tenser, then was placed strategically behind known people who defend the right to bring back economic growth. So, she and others of the same mind can continue to berate what has been the joy of the industrial age. To move slowly into a cleaner fuel production will take time, it took 100's of years to get here, and will take 100's of years to identify problems that are of natural vs man made causes.

What I am concerned about is those who wish the planet had fewer people, thinking it is the only solution for a swift change.A change like that will result for those in power to keep it. Then starts all over again because you wiped out the "Einsteins" of the planet who could have fixed it thus casting us back into darkness.

As a parent with a grown child on the Autism spectrum I can easily see the facial expressions that are the 'norm' for an excited child on the spectrum.

She is honest and pure to her thoughts in a way that's easy to misunderstand. This doesn't mean we should follow her an inch on a twisty trail. It's not a 'superpower', it's a focus that's very clean, narrow and at times very, very wrong.

I know one of my friends who is an amazing Aerospace Machinist, he pay's close attention to detail narrowly focus, he also poses an Eidetic Memory using it as a combination of Tactile Memory with Eidetic, among his peers he blows them away when he gets together to play bass to songs they themselves had written years ago. Correcting them time and again to bridge changes within the song, then saying remember this song, meaning some other song they also have forgotten?

Needless to say, he is one of those people that can steer or influence because no one but me and his wife know why he is the way he is, I've seen people without a strong inelegance listen and believe his every word. I balance his thoughts when he gets out of control, by asserting other possibility's, sometime the world has to right itself by looking at it at a different angle. Mine or his is not the only way to view life as we see it.

I'm still reading this essay, but so far it's interesting and enlightening:

Leninthink

Lenin played everything as a zero-sum game: I win only if you lose.

No wonder he hated capitalism.

This gives another perspective on today's rabid left.

A controversial study says cutting down on sausages, mince, steak and all other forms of red or processed meat is a waste of time for most people.

The report - which disagrees with most major organisations on the planet - says the evidence is weak and any risk is small.

Some experts have praised the "rigorous" assessment.

But others say "the public could be put at risk" by such "dangerously misguided" research.
