My daughter laughs at me because I properly punctuate and capitalize my texts to her.

I tell her that her texts look retarded.
I too try to tend to the nuances of proper orthography. Especially when addressing my customers. An idea can be conveyed much more efficiently that way. But nowadays people seem to think that more words and faster speech can compensate for that.

Ever worked with the EMACS editor?
Yes, just to see how it worked long ago and quickly decided it wasn't for me. I've also used GULAM for the Atart-ST that had emacs-like (microEmacs ) functionality. I wrote a multitasking OS (MX2 in Modula-2) for the Atari-ST that used GULAM as the shell.

Capitalism once again prevails.

- The experts were warning us how Milei will destroy the country.
- The corporate media and the Linkedin keyboard warriors ridiculed him.
- Free market capitalism, small government, less regulations and low taxes is the answer.

Holiday fake Magic

Neeraj Arora, the chair of marketing research and education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, said the reason why the company faced backlash for this specific advertisement, and not for “Masterpiece” last year, could be because many consumers recognize Christmas as an integral part of the company’s brand, and AI technology acts as a disruption.

“Your holidays are a time of connection, time of community, time to connect with family, and that’s sort of a big part of what the holidays are about,” Arora said. “But then you throw AI into the mix that is not a fit, that is not a fit with holiday timing, but also, to some degree, also Coke, what the brand means to people.”
