I'm 95% sure I know what I'm looking at here, but that other 5% would put me almost $200 behind if I'm wrong, so I thought I'd run it by you guys.
Epson Power Lite HC710HD projector display is dead. Fan runs full blast, no light comes out.
The manual has no explanation for LED combo (power LED: solid red, lamp LED: solid red, temp LED: off).
I disassembled the lamp assembly and it's a weird kind of bulb. The inner stem is BENT. and there's a weird pattern on the back of the glass. I'm 95% sure it's not supposed to look like that; it got too hot - hot enough to melt glass - and then the stem drooped. But, like I said, $200 part I don't want to buy in the seemingly very unlikely chance that the bulb is supposed to look like that, and I'm a moron. btw the bent stem is not loose; I cannot move it at all in any direction.
