I in part blame the police officers for the current situation. For those communities that don't appreciate their efforts, they should just pack up and go somewhere else and let those people live in the cesspool that they want to live in.

After that, they may come to appreciate policing more.
And before you make the statements you do, you should go live in the hell hole some of the people live in, and experience the policing first hand.

It's ok for you to make a blanket statement about all of the shooting victims?
What blanket statement? The fact that they all come from the same humanity pool? That some lie?

What happened in the five minutes prior to the gunfire? If you think the video is the whole story, your sadly mistaken. You are throwing due process out with the garbage.

Let's see what the DOJ finds out in their investigation ... you know, due process.

I see where the Baltimore DA might be up on charges for misconduct.

so the police came out with more statements regarding shooting in florida. Apparently they intended to shoot the autistic patient because they thought he was trying to kill his therapist.

They seem to be both blind and deaf in this particular case...

My WAG on what happened.
IMO the primary cause was a lack of fire discipline caused by a trigger finger being on the trigger before actually needing to fire his weapon. A Negligent discharge seems to be most likely reason the man was shot. The officer had his weapon in the general direction of the men and then pulled the trigger for some reason. His initial statements of 'I don't know' when asked by victim, a "trained" SWAT team member missing a large target while shooting at 50 yards or less and if the weapon used was full-auto (the officers weapon looked like a AR type rifle) a three round burst is one trigger pull (one hit in the leg and two misses).

I agree. The actions taken by the police in this case put 2 lives in danger.

The War on Cops continues.

Here is the British Medical Journal (stupid foreigners) claiming they counted the damage done by American police at 55,400 people killed or hospitalized per year.

This is how our brave Boys in Blue respond to cops being killed:

And this is another example of how difficult it is to be a cop:

Lack of prosecution of officers behaving badly is a failure of leadership in the department.

If the department recommended charges, and the DA failed to prosecute, the public can vote the DA out, if they have the wherewithall to REMEMBER the DA failures. Assistant DA's can be terminated and prosecuted for misconduct and disbarred.

How bad is this country when the best hope we have for our government, all the way from the President to the Dog Catcher, is to wait for the next election?

Waiting for the next election only applies to those elected, there is always a recall vote.

Challenging them to a duel with pistols at 40 paces went by the wayside. The political solution, being a PITA to your elected official to do what you want, is one way. Whether or not it gets results has some strings.
