I lost my girl Charlotte Wednesday morning. She was a 14 year old Golden. She did well for her breed and enjoyed a good life. I still have my boy Pilgrim but I sure miss my girl. Likely one of the most friendly dogs I had the pleasure of having.

They never live long enough.

 

Yes, the day we let them into our lives we know the day for goodbye will come. Since losing my wife a few years ago when my boy Pilgrim passes I will not be getting anymore dogs. Heck, I'll be 77 in a few months.

I can't imagine a life without a (big) dog.

There's a bunch waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge, and there'll be more before my time is up.
