That reminds me. I really need to get back to work on my used car project. From the looks of the rinse water, somebody used the carpeting to wipe something really awful.

For that, I get 4 bald tires, a broken air conditioner, and a doggy smell that just won't quit!
Taking the seats out, finding pocket change and furry french fries.
Many places ooze black when I spray on the soapy water. Obviously spilled drinks.
Four days of disassembling and cleaning...so far. Already fixed the power windows, power door locks, and the sway-bar bushings. Taught it to use a $3 ignition key instead of the bargain priced key from a locksmith for $60.
After I get the third row of seats out, I'll be able to get at the rear air conditioner fan and coil.
It's a monster of a car at 5300 pounds, empty, but it's going to be a swell ride when I get it all running like new. If I hit a KIA, the KIA will bounce like a billiard ball.

And the best part? It's a blacked out SUV. It looks so much like a Secret Service car that people are afraid to ding it in a parking lot for fear that six or eight Men in Black will jump out and aim guns at them!

Will the local police assume it's too scary to mess with? A pimped out ride with a dope dealer inside? Some fat cat who can afford a lot of nuisance tickets? Or a fat cat who can afford a lawyer? Only time will tell. I've gotten away without a traffic ticket for 40 years. (My soccer mom style minivan disguise has been working.) Will I suddenly start getting pulled over for looking too posh? If I do, I will sell it for a fat profit and buy something more mundane.

I bought a used Maxima a few years ago. I get stopped all the time now. One cop finally came out and told me to get rid of the maxima if I didn't like getting stopped. He said it was a targeted car because drug dealers drive them.

I said, it was either his reason or the 290 hp and my lead foot. He smiled and skipped the ticket.
