No. That robot can't tell the difference between an S and a 5. A "Real" robot would be able to discern the greatest detail from as few pixel's as possible. Plus, that bot has an attitude problem. You mean like this?

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol alert sent cellphones blaring statewide: Authorities in Gotham City, Missouri, were searching for a purple and green 1978 Dodge 3700GT.
But there is no Gotham City, Missouri, and the car referenced was the one used by the Joker in the 1989 “Batman” movie. Soon after the Tuesday evening alert, the patrol sent another saying to disregard it.
Down here we say "choke the goose"For those of you who don't know the term "Cuff the monkey" - it's a reference to a personal male sexual habit.
Goose" is rather complimentary. Around here it was "choking your chicken"Down here we say "choke the goose"![]()
Hahaha. Been waiting for it.
The cross reference for "recursion" includes page 269 .... the same page where the cross recursion is mentioned.
Thinking of that ... that can't be an accident, I'm sure it's meant to be as an inside joke written by the nerd that edited the book...
I've seen something like this in other books too, this is not unique to this book, there is nothing funny.
"Funny" is up to each individual to decide. No matter how many times my mother told me I shouldn't laugh when I heard Grandma's farts in church. So, you saying the Recursion joke was not funny makes me laugh even more. Thanks for reminding me of Grandma and my 6-year-old self.I've seen something like this in other books too, this is not unique to this book, there is nothing funny.
Good joke...I've seen something like this in other books too, this is not unique to this book, there is nothing funny.
Reminds me of the time, years back, when my girlfriend and I were walking back to our dorm from a munchies run to the local 7-11. It had snowed and the streets and sidewalks of Philadelphia were coated in very slick packed down snow. As we walked, confident in our 20 year old bodies, I saw an older woman taking short cautious steps. As I thought to myself, "Wow, I hope I'm more nimble than that when I'm her age", I found myself, in less than a blink of an eye, flat on my back. After a quick systems check to be sure I was OK, all I could do was laugh. I did notice that the little old lady who was now passing by was smiling as if she'd known what I was thinking!...guys taking falls on ice...
I really saw such things in glossaries of other books.Good joke...
