Already enjoying a cigar and Guinness since about 4 pm. I'm at Smoke on the Water in Weston if anyone wants to join me.

This week sucked.

A whole week of justifying the existence of an innovation team, R&D Team, technical support team & process optimization team.
Apparently there is more to being the greeter at Walmart then what the rest of us see? o_O :p

Who said walmart greeter? I run an on-line school. I teach mail-order brides how to torment their husbands.
By my wife's example you have taught well.

Maybe a little too well. She has less friends than me now and I aspire to be reclusive hermit.

I can sympathize; I got so sick of that crap before I retired (2 years ago yesterday!) that I felt like screaming.

Time for beer, good food and time with friends and family. Enjoy fast, Monday comes too soon.
Thanks. This weekend is a quiet one, next weekend out to Pittsburgh to visit Second Son and his wife and my two granddaughters. Rake some leaves... drink a whole bunch of beer on the deck... help out a bit with whatever the kid is doing these days on his '71 'Vette... watch the Steelers and the Chiefs on Sunday... good stuff.

You need a refresher course on the value of teamwork. Report to the Human Resources Team Leader first thing Monday.

I went through that with a product launch team that I led. A jr. accountant decided that ze would take the role of consumer specialist and wasted huge amounts of time second-guessing the results of focus groups and other market research. The only persons stupider than ze were the VPs that insisted on consensus in every decision...until they disagreed with the consensus, of course.

I gave up on decision by committee 16 years ago. That's when I decided to go off on my own. I've never looked back.

Interesting being I for one constantly look back at my life and where I have been and take a bit of gratitude in that I am no longer there plus I now now know how to deal with those problems better so I can hopefully avoid them in the future. :)

Suueeeeet! It's Friday again. I'm eager to finish winteriz-ing my RV this weekend. I'm spending the winter in Minneapolis in my 40' trailer, and need to make sure I can stay warm. I have about a day's worth of work to finish.
