Tester for PCM cables 120 ohm

HI all,

I have PCM cable or E1 cable

how I can make testing for its ohm bu ahmmeter

is there any way

Hi,

many thanks for your reply

as you know E1 cable(pcm) is 120ohm and network cables is 50 to 60 ohm

so now i don't know exactly what is meaning by this ohm? and how i can find out this ohm by ohmmeter

The "Ohm" of the cable is the characteristic impedance. The CSU/DSU and Telco Demarc handle the "Electrical termination" for you, so you only need to use cable that is within the specification.

As you mention E1 vs. T1 or DS1, I assume you are non-US? Are you trying to use a different connector cable for the E1?
