What is it with people and driving LEDs? Why do they make it so difficult? These LED threads go round and round and round.......

There was a time before the internet when we had no one to bother and instead we would pick up a pen and paper and a calculator and work it out for ourselves. And then we'd wire up some components and check our results. It's just basic electronics, right?

I guess nobody does that any more because it's easier just to make it someone else's problem and avoid the inconvenience of actually bothering to understand anything .
There is that....

Sorry if I troubled you. all the humans don't have same brains. I might be not as sharp as you. But iam trying. This is not my field but I love electronics. Iam reading, learning and seeking help from jenius like you. Sorry to disturb you again. Those who are willing to help only can reply me. Thank you.

I take it that the first thing you learned was Ohms Law and the relationship between voltage, current and power?

Don't take it too personally. It was almost certainly meant as a general remark based on an oft-repeated theme that is seen here and not directed at you specifically.

Life on a forum requires a thick skin -- and we can all be thin-skinned at times. So don't sweat it and just keep on pluggin'.

Or maybe it would be convenient to add a "LED drivers" thread to the sticky threads section of this forum... I'm just sayin' ...
I would rather have a single sticky that contains links to other places that stuff like this is available (a blog, a thread, an E-Book section, whatever) rather than yet another sticky. Several forums already have so many stickies that I can't just go to the forum and see what the latest thread is but rather I have to scroll down past all the stickies. Quite annoying.

Yes WBahn... if there's anyone here that understands the meaning of annoying here, then that would be me (trust me, I've been exercising my patience all my life) You're right, there are several forums out there that already include this kind of stuff, but whenever you google circuits-something, then the AAC's site is among the very first hits, so we can't blame the newbies for that...
Truth being told, what annoys me the most is when someone doesn't do his or her homework... that is, I find it disrespectful when someone doesn't even bother to first look up the very basic things online before coming here for help...
Then again... maybe we (pardon me if I consider myself part of this group already... I'm not trying to impose) should have a sticky with annoying things in it (call it the Annoying Thread)... things other than ohm's law and 555's ... that is, for instance, LED drivers, MOSFET drivers, Constant Current Sources, ADC rules of thumb and the like...
Maybe my idea is a dumb one (because what I'm proposing may be a huge undertaking, or because what I just said is already included in the ebooks)... but I remember very well when I was an annoying teenager eager to learn electronics... back then when there were barely any affordable books out there for below-beginners ... let alone an internet accessible to all curious souls like nowadays...
