I don't recognize those "scholars" either... I'm funny that way...

A judeo-christian scam? ... I don't think so... Have you actually read the history of Mohammed? (even from the 'qumran itself, or from the corresponding hadiths) In my opinion, Islam developed from an opportunistic warlord that realized that religion can be good business ...
I don't have any personal skin on this religion game so I won't argue yours or any other persons personal beliefs but Facts are just that, Facts.

And I know you well enough to know that you won't take this sort of thing personal either... I respect the facts too... it's always their interpretation that gets in everyone's skin...

Maybe we should get back on subject...

I don't like Ariana Grande much... But I'm a father of an 18 year old girl that dearly admires her and this event breaks my heart, especially considering all those kids that went to her concert expecting to have a good time and their parents ... so far her tweets and her representatives' have been wise.

"It is very clear that this is a network we are investigating," Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said Wednesday following a series of raids and arrests after the attack.
UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd earlier told the BBC that Abedi was on the radar of intelligence services and that he had recently returned to the UK from Libya.
French Interior Minister Gérard Collomb told BFM-TV that Abedi had "proven links to ISIS," without elaborating.

London (CNN)UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd slammed US leaks on the investigation into the Manchester attack as "irritating" Wednesday and said she had made it clear that it "should not happen again."

A string of details about Monday's deadly attack at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena have emerged from US law enforcement sources before being released by British police or officials.

The hostage situation marks a further escalation of the security crisis on the Mindanao island, which follows from a failed raid on a hideout of Islamic State-linked rebels Abu Sayyaf on Tuesday.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte warned on Wednesday he would deal harshly with militants. Duterte cut short a visit to Russia and placed the southern island of 22 million people under military rule, and said he would keep it that way for a year if necessary.

Fighting abated in the mainly Muslim city of Marawi as troops sought to contain dozens of rebels of the Maute group, who escaped a botched raid on Tuesday on an apartment and took over streets, bridges and buildings and sought to block army reinforcements.

What you have are people wanting to commit suicide, then in their last minute, justify killing others out of disappointment of their own pitiful life. The real Murder's hide behind drapes, in an old time puppet show.

They had no life before they died but and believe they will have one in the next worth living as told by their puppet masters.

And in your post we have someone who only gets their view on a situation form talk radio. Using talking points from those who's mission is to turn people against each other for their own profit, is not a good way to view the world. It's sad, very sad.:(

You assume to much, thats sad. I mention listening to talk radio one time.....

Is it the water where you live or just plain ignorance. It would be like me assuming you only listen to CNN, ABC, etc. I work at a University and still maintain learning as a lifestyle.

I have several sources combined both left, right, middle more than TV and Radio. Good god man, it's the Twentieth Century and you act as if I live in a town of 23 still in the 1800's. The University alone is over 40k not including Faculty.

Hmm,
I wonder what they did before 2000? I don't remember hearing about it.
No, I think it is one of their methods of fighting back.

There still is a difference. Dying at 18 or 80. Throw in your towel if you will. I ain't doing that.
@Sinus23 I did not post a link to any video  oh wait....just a song or music...!
I am not talking about throwing the towel.
It means that people dying under normal circumstances like heart attacks, dropping dead while you are playing soccer, etc.
Mostly people at young age.

And the fighting I believe means like civil war.

I'm an atheist however I fear reincarnation. It could be random for all I know ;)/:eek:

I love life(oh it can get gloomy at times:() and I can't see how I could ever choose who/what lives or dies. It would be ego that I can't afford.
Hey ! I thought I had one atheist friend. Now me got two. :p
By the way...there is no reincarnation. You can relax on that part though.
For all of us, life gets gloomy at times and no body gets to choose who lives or dies

Don't agree with that. It's not the religions, it's the "men" who run the separate offshoots of the religions. Men who can't stand to see someone above their ego's having power. Isis is no different than the so called christian religions like Jim Jones, David Koresh, Marshal Applegate, etc. They find people that can't think for themselves and promise them greatness if they just "follow them".
I could have not said it any better.

I don't recognize those "scholars" either... I'm funny that way...

You could never be more wrong :(.
Islam was not developed.
You are misinterpreting the meaning of Islam.
Tell you what. Do a little research on the below part and come back to me.
"Muslim means One who Submit to God" and so does Islam.
Abraham (PBUH) was a Submitter.
Jesus (PBUH) was a Submitter.
And so was all the Prophets.
Like I said. Read Quran your self, understand it and then quot from it. :)

The US side leaks in this case are getting ridiculous.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...more-manchester-details-hours-after-uk-rebuke

The photographs suggest the bomb was relatively sophisticated, requiring a degree of expertise. It contained a powerful explosive in a lightweight metal container. The pictures indicate it was carried in a blue rucksack made by the Karrimor outdoor company.

Such was the power of the blast that nuts and screws packed round the bomb penetrated doors and walls. Abedi stood in the middle of a crowd. The upper part of his body was thrown towards the entrance to the arena.
It was not a crudely-made bomb, as among the evidence recovered was a Yuasa a 12-volt, 2.1 amp lead-acid battery, which is much more expensive than normal ones. The detonator appeared to have a small circuit board soldered inside one end.

There seemed to have been several options for detonating it, such as a simple manual switch or possibly remotely by a radio signal.

You really think your first quote sounds like some one living out side of the far right fringe? And the second one if you were so inclined, with something called the internet, you could really learn about Islam, not what the right and the radio says. I have some Muslim friends that I talk with regularly. They are nothing like you seem to think 'all Muslims' are. They are just as upset and mad about what Isis and other terrorist groups are doing and even more than non Muslims are. They are pushed from their homes and lives with no way to stop what is happening, through no fault of their own, but yet they are blamed every time a terrorist attack happens, just for being Muslim. All because of thing's like you said in the first post of this back and forth. By people that should know better but saying something good would make their ratings go down.

Preaching to the Choir, I have 5 computers at my disposal. I use computers every day, I train in Internet Security, Computer Science and Networks. I work at a Multi Cultural University and I have no idea what I'm talking about?

Again you assume to much, I didn't say all Muslims. < see the period ? I said about those who want to commit suicide. < notice the period? They need a reason for life and have none, until they find someone willing to give them a proper reason to actually commit, after that it's a done deal. Then those who are responsible for unleashing this radicalized demon will do all in their power to make it happen.

Edit: Probably the reason why the device could have been remotely detonated. If he had second thoughts it was now out of his hands. (I speak of the bomber in Manchester England)

You obviously haven't sent a child to a private Catholic school...
Yep. Catholicism was probably the devil's most successful invention for turning people against God. :(

To this day I can't say I have ever met a full died in the wool catholic that wasn't in some way a bit screwed up in the head and worse as a human being for it. :(
