Synth - breakout box

Hi
I have a question you might be able to help me figure out. I have a small synth (Moog Werkstatt) and I want to build a breakout box similar to what this guy has built:

In the video he is referring to Moogs own workshop where you can see what you need for each project:

2nd osc:

Volume:

Fine tune:

The thing is, that I want to build these "mods" with 1/8"/3,5mm jack ports instead of the jumper cables used in Moogs videos, similar to what the guy in the first video has done.

So the question is how to make the projects, so that they fit with a mono minijack port? Do I need breadboards, or just solder everything together? I don't need to be able to seperate things again.

Best

Definately. Thank you!
But do you have any idea on how to implement the 1/8" jacks instead of just using the jumper cables?
Also I have no idea about the potentiometers - if they need to be linear og logarithmic?

Pcb-mountable jack sockets are available.
Log or lin for the pot would depend on its function. If for volume control it would normally be log (audio taper). If for frequency control it might well be lin.

Ok, I guess I just have a final question before ordering a bunch of stuff for this project.
I have added this to the synth, which gives it better connectability, but also makes it necessary to reinterpret the step-by-step guides for the breakout boxes - and why I need all of your help :)

It seems that the Expander adds ground to the jacks, so when you look at the diagrams on this page

- should I just leave out the ground cables?

If the manufacturer provides ground cables/connections they are there for a reason. Why would you want to leave them out?
