Synchronous Generator Excitation Current

The generator operated on grid, deliver 250 kW active and 100 kVAr inductive reactive
power. To change the operating mode of the generator to pure ohmic, we adjusted excitation current. But there is a circuit breaker in the excitation circuit. That circuit breaker is suddenly switched off. After that what will happened? What will be consequences of this?

You need to show some of your own initial work.
In fact, I think that when we cut the excitation current, the machine will work as an induction machine and the rotor speed will increase, but I wonder what effect the generator will have on the ohmic load.

Well at the very least show a schematic. If you dont, you want get any help most likely.
