Hi,
On the subject of symmetrical components analysis for fault currents, +/-/0 phase impedance.
My question is, is all this just a mathematical way calculate the fault current, a model full of hypothetical components which then churn out a real life useable value??
If not then can someone explain in physical terms what the positive, neagative and zero phase impedance represent in physical terms, in a way that I could draw it on paper what route in a network/transformers represents these?
Thanks
