I have a chip that I dont understand its purpose and was wondering if anyone could help
I created a diagram of the Chip

 

Is it a capacitor, a resistor, or what

No I cant get a good photo the thing is tiny about 4mm by 8mm
that is why I made the drawing

Are the yellow things conductive tabs? Is the lefthand one not connected to anything? Where is the 10.8V coming from?

Looks like a battery pack to me. The symbol may be a corporate logo; I don't recognize it.

hummm didn't think about a logo. I also don't recognize it that is why I posted.
YES it is a battery pack. I thought I had already stated that.

It is attached to the battery with what looks like thermal paste.

I think you are right on the money.

it just does not have the monitor connector hooked up but I do see it.


I did a bit of testing and raising the temperature defiantly causes a resistance.
