Wow go away for a few months and look what happens! I have my forum skin set to that nice easy to look at old fashioned blue background. From my memory you used to be able to click on Forums at the top of the page and pretty much see links to all of the forums under the same skin.

Now I click on it and I am blinded by that bright orange skin. Is there anyway to switch between forums and keep the blue skin? I would like to keep my eyesight for a few more years thank you. ;)

In your user profile under 'Preferences->Style' you can select 'vb3.x - Fluid' - the blue pages.
If you keep yourself logged in, going to https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com will bring you straight to the blue pages forum list.
I run Firefox with AdBlock Plus and the forum is clean and fast.
Note that 'HOME' is still the orange pages even when using 'Fluid' so use the link above.
That's what I do.

I have that setting.

https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com

takes me to the ugly orange menu.

And staying logged in is another issue I am having. I need to log in every time I come to the forum even tough I check the box to stay logged in. That has never been an issue before.

I am using Firefox 62.0.3

hi,
I have two identical desktops, both with the same settings, one starts up in AAC with all the old blue screens and displays all the forums. [this is what I prefer]
The other comes up with the orange screen and I have to select Forums to get blue...

I am also using FireFox and XP pro.

E
BTW: my two laptops, one is blue start up, the other is orange.

Weird or what.

Yes, tried various combinations, no success to date.
Looking and comparing the html Source code for the blue and orange opening screens, they are of course quiet different.

E:

EDIT:

Also on the orange screen version I do not get the right hand side Admin/Mod menu block.

I suspect that most of these strange / ilogical / inconsistent things depend mostly of browser settings. When bored, with enough time, I managed to solve some in the past and ruin much more as well.

Now, with Win 10, I have little to complain about other than the OS itself.

Android performs better IMHO.

I just tried Android from my phone. Same thing as in my browser. All the forums are blue but when I go to switch forums. I get the ugly orange menu.

Spinniker that's been problem for some ppl for quite awhile (as example that's what was going on HERE when I thought I was being auto-logged off) so IMO best solution is just CTRL-R to reload page:)!

So anyhow FWIW I say it's side effect of some browser extensions (like Ublock Origin, Ghostry, ABP and like that)

I am having the same problem. Seems to randomly switch between orange and blue. Sometimes I get an error message saying something like ‘you have to be logged in to use that feature.

I’m on an iPhone with IOS 12 dot something.

I wish I could do a double like. That did it thank you!!!! :)

Now can someone remind me how to tell if there is something new in the forum?

I don't think it is a browser extension as it was doing the same thing in multiple browsers and even on my phone.
