I'm building an electric skateboard which uses a PPM signal from a 2.4 ghz reciever. Standard servo ppm. I'm adding a micro controller to supervise the system. I want the micro controller to turn on and off the PPM signal from the receiver to the speed controller in order for the micro controller to "disable" motion. Can I get suggestions on what kind of transistor circuit I could use to accomplish this?

 

Sounds as though a logic AND gate would do the job. What is the voltage of the PPM signal? What is the MCU output voltage?
