Hi all,
I currently have built simple boxes that have a four pole connector on the outside to easily attach/remove RGB led strip from the power supply. Currently I'm using a 24Vdc power supply (as thats the main voltage of strip I use) and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to put a switch on the box to convert the output power to 12Vdc (as some strip I can use is 12v)? Or is it better to put a 12Vdc power supply inside as well and just switch? I'd like to keep jus the one connector on the outside and just switch voltages.
thanks
