I am using dsPIC33fj256gp710 to interface with ADF7020 RF tranceiver module. I am new to RFID application. Can someone suggest if it is possible to interface these two modules and establish communication through RF frequencies. I need to read the data in an RFID tag (passive) when it comes within the ADF7020 RF range. If its possible to establish, is there any document that describes the interface of ADF7020 with any PIC controller ?? Can someone brief the steps to be considered in above interface ?

Thanks Ernie, got to check it out a little over my lunch and it looks exactly like what i was looking for.

 

Another brain cell fired off, I think the Parallax people (makers of the Basic Stamp) have some modules for RFID too.

 

NICE, looks like a good start for getting into RF (which I am terrible with ATM)
