Perhaps a cmos micropower op-amp? I don't have any ideas and google isn't helping me other than to distraction.

Thanks, I don't know sh/t about op amps, and i don't know if I ever will. There are sooo many
parameters with them. Maybe someday it'll click or I'll find a good book or something.

 

I'm going to try the LMC6482, low power, cmos, single rail voltage supply. Wish the
voltage requirements were a bit lower.

 

Op amp suppliers such as TI, Linear Technology, Maxim and Analog Devices all have selection guides listing all of their op amps and their characteristics, with the ability to sort and select on various parameters. These can be handy when trying to pick a suitable part.

EDIT: I forgot Microchip; they have a selection of op amps, too.
