Suction System using Fans for Smoke

Thinking about making a small compact smoke system using vape parts and fans.

Wondering if anyone can offer me any wisdom about how much power would be needed to create suction thru tubes connected to a vaporizer smoking device, I feel like small fans may not be strong enough?

Or several in a line?

Brainstorm with me please!

Fans are rated in Cubic Feet per Minute. That is without any differential pressure across the fan other than what the fan itself creates in still air. You want to pick nits, it also depends on air density/elevation/humidity/etc. Adding ducting and transitions to change diameter also affects the air (assuming it is air) velocity and adds to the fan load. Once you have all of the fan loads totalized you can start to find the horsepower needed for the motor to drive the fan. Just for a start...

What is your goal? i.e. are you trying to remove smoke from a room, or smoke out a room?
Hi!

My goal is to make a very small smoke machine something I can fit inside an area of a cigar box. Using vaporizer (smoking) parts and fans. Hoping to find some strong fan that will pull on the mouthpiece much like a person who would smoke it.

If you want to suck air through a standard vape I believe you will greater pressure (suck) than a standard axial fan will provide. I have no numbers to support this, just my experience with a vape.
Maybe a peristaltic, diaphragm, or piston pump would be better, for instance an aquarium aereator pump.

You're going to need a high pressure pump to move any appreciable volume of air, just given the size of the tubes you're working with alone. A diaphragm pump like this one would give good pressure, but you would need to test it to see if the volume is OK:

If you want more volume, see if you can find the miniature version of this, or something similar. The key is high pressure or high vacuum: https://www.ebay.com/c/27009605867
