i recently built a huge capacitor bank to use as a washer launcher and pop can crusher. the problem im running into is finding an SCR for 2200 volts at thousands of peak amps. does anyone know of some way to use something other than an scr? it seems to me that using a switch would lose the energy when the contacts arc. TY

2200 volts @ 1000's of amps? Talking about several megawatts? I hope that you know what you are doing here. This is EXTREMELY dangerous.
