Hello , am building a tranciever.it has 4 different variable attenuators which is attached and functionality shown below.
so i need to feed several attenuator with its own Vc .
what analof method you reccomend to use to controll them without microcontroller?
Thanks.

Since the control voltage is in the range 0-2.5V you could start with a TL431 as a reference 2.5V source and use one or more voltage dividers supplied with that. Would simple pots suffice as the dividers?

Would you be interested in using CD40xx or 74HCxx logic?
Because there are many digital-pots whose control signals are simple enough to be controlled by simple logic blocks.

Go to Digikey.com
On the search bar type DIGITAL POTENTIOMETERS.
There will be several filter columns. On the “Interface”, select all of the “Up/Down” options and APPLY ALL.
You’ll see now over 1000 options. The next step would be to filter out by “Number of Taps”, “Memory Type”, “Resistance”, and “Package/Case”. APPLY ALL.

You’ll now have a couple dozen devices to choose from. You can then compare prices and read some of the datasheets, and select a few devices for thorough comparison.

This my friend, is what electronic design is all about: reading many datasheets and comparing devices. Determine which of the myriad options best suits your needs and your budget.

Hello Alec ,TL431 is a good manual idea.so i just use its output to voltage divider to produce the control voltage.

So what is your user interface for selecting different attenuations? Is it a rotary switch, some pushbuttons a simple potentiometer or a highly sophisticated LCD touch screen interface?

Then we can provide an appropriate solution.
