I am a bit puzzled as to what sort of system draws 117 amps constantly. That could be an electric racing cycle or a small car. Or possibly an electric airplane.

I think you may need a more robust solution. This definitely has the air of something sketchy.

 

OK, it is an aircraft. That changes things a lot!! Both size and weight matter much more on aircraft, and vibration can cause lots of problems. And the requirements become different because charging and using are in totally different environments. So a universal package is not the best choice. And none of the charging system needs to go along for flying. So that TI package is not what you need.

Good news, though, is that TI will probably be glad to help select the best choices for both use and charging.

Current mirrors don't amplify current, they just make current in one transistor essentially identical (or proportional) to that in the other.
