I'm attempting to do something similar.
i need to activate a motor by a motion sensor and have the motor trave until it hits the first limit. once the motion sensor deactivates the motor to reverse and travel back to the other limit switch. (i could use just 1 limit switch if this is electrically easier to achieve. The senor is 3.3v. Everything else will be 12v. I'm using audrino parts
