Hello,

Does anyone get some spamlinks in your profile posts posted?
If so, Please report them.

Also, do you receive unwanted conversation with spam in the ?
We from the staff can not see those.

Sorry Bertus, but how should they show if existing? In what part precisely?

Sincerely, have no idea what you are asking about.

Hello,

The profile message can be shown when you go to the main page of your profile.
Here I posted a test message in my test account:

On the topic of spam: I saw that a few moderators on this forum mentioned the large amount of spam they have to deal with. Given that I have only seen a single spam thread on this forum over the past month and a half, they are doing a great job.

@bertus: I was surprised to notice that this forum doesn't require people signing up for an account to pass a captcha test. Wouldn't adding a captcha be a fairly easy way to reduce the amount of spam on the forum?

Hello,

During the registration, the username, email address and IP are checked against the database of StopForumSpam.
http://stopforumspam.com/
These users get moderated and have to be approved manualy.
Most of them will be rejected.

Also the forumsoftware itself has a database with spamlinks.
When a spamlink is detected in a post, the post will be moderated and taken from view.
The moderators can decide to use the spamcleanertool on the post or approve the post.
When the spamcleanertool is used, the information is sent to the stopforumspam database.

I appear to have some junk - I wouldn't call it spam exactly - that appeared in December. I never noticed it before. I'll leave it there until you reply, or you can go ahead and remove it yourself.

Hello,

Unfortunately I can not change the recent activity list.
They will shift away when you make some more posts as being older changes.

In the Holmes scale, relocation ranks high as a stressful activity, but so many times in a row... !! You should be tired even today. :p

Hope you have decided to settle finally there. :D
