I need an insulated bus wire to pass across a string of PCB's. I need a low-profile, low-cost way to connect the bus to each PCB as it passes across the PCB. 3A DC. Preferably solderless, preferably surface-mount.

The best solution i found so far is these IDC pass-thru connectors, but they are expensive. Could i just use the splicer blades without the housing?

The simplest, cheapest solution could be just solder pads, but that's not solderless, and how to strip insulation in the middle of a length of wire?
