Could someone pls tell me what these two items are that we stuck to my battery and what do they do?

 

Have not a clue. Post a picture of the two items stuck to your battery...

I didn't stick it on them they were already there on some sticky pads

I can only see a tiny thumb in your original photo post. It's impossible to tell for sure what you have in the hand.

 

this is so annoying, I go in my attachments and it opens a new page and the photo is there, I click on it and it opens up a new page with the photo in and that's it. angry face

I think I may have uploaded it

 

The silver device looks like a piezo sounder (no idea why it's stuck to the battery, maybe they didn't have space elsewhere) whilst the device on the left is almost certainly a temperature sensor.
