1. i have a application in which MCU(+5V) is driving MOC3021 which in turn on/off triac.
Load is 100% resistive. I have checked Max load current by plugging it directly to ac, it comes out to be at 322mAac at 248Vac.
2. MOC3021 has two application circuit given in its datasheet, one with resistive load which has no snubber ckt & other with inductive load with snubber ckt.
3. Since in my case load is entirely resistive, can I go with ckt with no snubber as mentioned in attached ckt.
4. Triac used is T1M5F-A.
