SMD IDing: What is this SMD on my RAM Module?

Background:
(This might be a noob question. Thanks in advanced!)

Doing some hobby "retro" overclocking. Got a used DDR3 generation RAM module (G.Skillz Trident X DDR3-2400 RAM). I have one stick that's missing a few SMD components. Luckily, I have another of the pair, with the SMD intact.

Problem:
I'm trying to figure out what the component without first trying to have to desolder it and start testing. I took a picture of the place where the missing SMD should have been, what is supposed to be there (on the other DIMM I had), and where that component is supposed to be relative to the "key" cut for the 240-pins of the DDR3 RAM DIMM. The component kinda looks blue so I kinda am thinking its not a capacitor or a resistor, but I am not really sure.

Question:
What SMD component is this likely? Can someone help me out?

What should be there:

How the area looks at lower magnification, for reference:

THANK YOU! :)

Welcome to AAC.

That is a bypass capacitor. It is between the VREF positive and negative traces to suppress noise. If you measure one of the other caps on the modules you can use that value for a replacement.

Thank you for the welcome and reply!

Do you know if there is a place or documentation to find the pinout of the RAM out of curiosity (since you mentioned +ive and -ive VREF)?

Also, this bypass capacitor is a blue-ish (navy blue?) color, unlike the other beige SMDs. Is there any significance to this color coding, Mr. Ya'akov? Thanks!
