I need to make a small dual voltage power supply with clean DC power. It does not need to put out very much amperage 1amp max, and I need it to be as small as possible. Any Ideas

120vAC to 12v/5vVDC @ 1amp. Clean DC power is a must. And a small finished package would be great.

Any circuits out there that meet my criteria?

Do you really need to MAKE one, or just have one? Most phone chargers these days are exactly what you've described, and can be obtained cheap or free if you hunt a little.

Well, not dual supplies.

If the 5vdc requirement is low (say for logic circuits), you might get a 12v 1A plug-type switching regulated supply, and add a 7805 regulator and a couple of caps. If you need more than about 100mA current @ 5v, might use two separate switching regulated plug supplies.

I don't need to build one, but I was hoping for something small. I have a couple of wall warts that are 12volt, if that helps
