Single turn potentiometer type provides poor distribution between 3 and 24 volts output. Would swapping it for a 10 turn wire wound potentiometer provide a better more accurate and controllable output result?

We don’t know what you mean by “poor distribution”.
We cannot give you a proper answer because we don’t know your application and power requirements of the potentiometer.

A circuit diagram would help to show the application.

A 10 turn pot would enable you to set the Vout more precisely.

Yes, but I'm not a big fan of 10-turn pots. If you change the voltage frequently, I think you'll find the 10-turn to be more of a hassle.

I'd opt for putting a smaller value single-turn pot in series with the larger one for more precise control.
