hello sir, thanks for your reply. actually, this is a Canadian Red Seal assessment question. I assume this question should apply to general operation. I actually do not understand what it means by "The motor cycles on the overload relay". Could you help further explain on that "The motor cycles on the overload relay" will look like? Thank you sir.I am assuming that is a thermal embedded winding sensor?
If it operates due to overheat, then it trips/opens a O/L relay.
Without more detail, this is an answer to general operation.
