The other double-post showed the motor reversing details.
The reversing contactor shown has mechanical and electrical interlocks, (preventing both sides energizing)

As I look at the several proposed 3-phas reversing arrangements, I recall reading, in post #1, that it is a SINGLE PHASE motor.
AND, that s tag on the motor, shown in post #1, includes both the low and high voltage wiring schemes, and also instructions for interchanging connections to reverse rotation. So giving us a legible view of that tag will allow some to clearly describe the connections that are required. ALL OF THE NEEDED INFORMATION IS ON THAT TAG!!
In addition, in post #1, the line that states "frame 56C, 60Hz Ph1 tells me that it is a single phase motor.
And an earlier line tells me it is a dual voltage motor. That means that none of the 3-phase advice applies.

Yes and post #1 was June 2016. This is why I have an intense dislike when people do that. Then within several post we were in 2019. Then we moved along to Oct 2023. Anyway I am guessing anything in Post #1 is pretty much meaningless. More than once I got sucked in by this because I failed to look at the date. Since I responded to the original post here I was stupid enough to jump right back into the thread. What needs to happen is for moderation to close the thread.

OR, at the very least, make the date text in a larger font and a brighter color.
