Could someone please tell me how to solve this? I know it's simple, but the answer I'm getting is different to the one in the book.
Here's my method:
Io = (Vs - Vd) /R = (IoxR - Vd)/R = (3-0.7)/1k = 2.3mA
Vd = Vt x ln(Id/Is) = 2.5e-2 x ln (2.3m/1e-13) = 0.596 V
The correct answer is: 0.603V
