I'm trying to design a simple audio switch that can take two different stereo inputs via a standard common-ground 3.5mm jack and output to a single 3.5mm headphone socket with, say, a single-pole-double-throw switch to select between the two inputs.
I have started looking at using two transistor loops that are mutually exclusive based upon the action of the double-throw switch, however, I am a bit out of my depth when it comes to wiring up the stereo signal and also not distoring the sound.
If anyone has tried this before or knows a good online example, I would be very greatful.
Thanks. Mark
