I haven't found it too difficult. I got some 3mm dowels and I drill two 3mm holes to locate the board to maintain the position when flipping the board.The double sided boards will still be a "challenge" with a CNC machine.
Why mess with that when you can get double sided, plated through hole for a 50c to a couple of $$'s?
I can just imagine a CNC M/C for $125.00!

I would be very happy if a $125 machine can make an accurate PCB. Very surprised, but very happy.
For $125, I'd buy a CNC machine just to look pretty in the garage!
Truth being told... I'm very skeptic about a $125 dlls CNC PCB milling machine... it is probably a scam.
That machine you linked is unbelievably low priced. As in, too good to be true. $125 would not even cover half the parts if ordered in bulk wholesale directly from a Chinese supplier. I second the assertion that it's likely a scam.
It looks to be very light duty with 3-D printed plastic parts. If it is brand new and you never abuse it, it might be okay for circuit boards. If it is used, it is probably loose and wobbly and no good for circuit boards. We couldn't even start to make it for that price.
If $125.00 is a lot of money to you, don't buy it. If $125.00 is pocket change, go for it. That is a cool toy and you may be able to keep it tight enough.

If someone is offering you whatever the product is jointly with cracked software to operate it, do not be surprised that it could be a fiasco in the end or a stolen product. And not much hope of support later.
Unless it is someone hurried to get rid of good equipment thus the unrealistic price, which I doubt.
No matter what, a decent machine able to produce a passable PCB does cost, new, much more than that.

there's a tiny bit more expensive version that has a laser too. this one only has a mill. and they say it can't really mill anything it's mostly for engraving.

With probably considerable backslash for PCB purposes... unless it's somehow preloaded, but I can't see it in the picsT8 (Acme) with Brass nut.

That's one way of doing it, but wouldn't backlash in the axis that is not performing motion make the tool vibrate somehow while cutting?I am not sure how many low end systems have backlash compensation built in.
Where the back lash is measured with dial gauge and then the number is entered into a parameter, it comes into play when when a screw comes to the end of a move and then reverses, the screw turns the amount of the backlash before the distance is is recorded as moving.
Higher end systems use this method.

Good catch. I didn't notice. They 3D printed everything to look as if made from aluminum. They fooled me already and I didn't even order it.There are many plastic parts on that.
Maybe the whole left to right carriage is plastic.
The lower left view doesn't have an end bearing on the lead screw.
Any kind of milling machine would have a cast base / frame even if it is aluminum, not an assembly of many extrusions. There isn't even a cross brace on the bottom square frame.

Maybe I didn't explain myself correctly. Even if the motor (stepper or encoder) firmly holds the screw in position, if the nut has backlash it will be reflected in the finish and precision of the cut being made due to its possible axial oscillation during the process.
