Several devices of the iPhone 12 PRO MAX model with a reset defect arrived at my assistance due to the dock being shorted. I would like to inform myself with you if there is a possibility of repairing this charging dock, and if someone has already had defects of this type who managed to repair the dock.

It has no oxidation and the charging system seems OK.

Since this appears to be your first entry, welcome to AAC.

See it all the time - people refer to electrical failures by one term - - - "Short".

The first image is that of a normally functioning circuit.

The second image is that of a short. In this case only the LED has been shorted, causing the current draw to jump from 21mA to 27mA. It's not a "Dead Short". If both R1 and the LED were shorted then it would be a Dead Short. A dead short can cause a fire. A short can be caused by a solder bridge or some other means by which the electrical pathway finds a "Short Cut" back to the power source. THAT is why it's called a "Short". That's what a short is.

The last image is that of an "Open" circuit. Notice there is no pathway back to the source, hence, no current flows.
An open circuit will cause the circuit to be non-functional. Fix the open and everything should be good to go.
