Hello,

I hope you all are fine.

I am operating servo hydraulic valve. Servo valve is operating on both directions from it's center position ( CW=45 deg & CCW=30 deg Why both the direction has not same angle?)

what I am doing is providing +-1Vdc to drvier input and it produce +-6V(vary volts for speed) through servo driver card.
At particular speed (say at +5V) motor rotate CCW at some speed but when i reverse the polarity it moves CW very fast. Why this is happening?

You need to post the servo valve and driver board data. It could well be working as designed. Impossible to answer your question with no real info, sorry.

Perhaps the pressure of the hydraulic fluid is assisting the movement in one direction but working against the movement in the other direction, but I wouldn't expect that in a well-designed valve.

First if it is just a servo valve, changing the voltage won't change the speed of operation. For that you need a proportional valve. And like the others have said is it servo in each direction?
