Something I expect to see, is the true smart bullet shown on the old movie "Runaway" starring Tom Sellik. If you missed this movie you lost out, it was one of the better ones out there.

Basically the Police now have a robotics runaway unit for malfunctioning robot, due the quantity and commonness of them. A arm dealer/terrorist comes up with a chip set that will reprogram them into terror machines. Very well done, as I've said.

A lot of the movies predictions have happened or is in the process of happening. A military robotic smart bullet (with an explosive warhead) was featured in the movie, it was a fire and forget weapon.

The quad copter fits the surveillance drone shown in the movie to a tee.

Another one I read about in a scifi book is where the gun/bullet were smart. Set the mode on, sweep across a line of people, and if the bullet would hit them the gun would fire. The trigger was a request to fire in this case. The ultimate in spray/pray device, only lethal.

So I'm halfway through your movie Bill and OMG this is like nerd porn! EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!! Low budget even for the early 80's. They made all the robots out,, now standard items. All the chips and PCB's are ancient! The head police lab is like 50 different types of old oscilloscopes and old CB's. Thats halfway. And I gotta get me a EMP scatter suit. They just shot the guided bullet. :)

Hahahahahahaha I thought that was Gene Simmons then I though, Nahhhh no way..... I remember him much uglier before the TLC makeover surgeries a couple years back. He actually looked pretty good in the 80's. And Kirsty Alley, that brought back some memories. Another thing that stuck out I thought was funny is Tom Selleck did a great job acting wise. Everyone else in the movie just horrible over acted their parts. The kid especially, like out of some si-fi norman rockwell painting.
