Hello all, i am new to electronics, currently I am working on an IC ADE7880.
This IC has very specific parameters for crystal, I found this crystal in local market and after so much effort I am still unable to find its datasheet to see its load capacitor values:
You can find its pictures here:

It would be really helpful, if you help me finding its datasheet!

According to datasheet,
"best crystal VM6-1D11C12-TR-16.384MHZ (maximum drive level 1 mW;
maximum ESR 20 Ω; load capacitance 12 pF). Select the same
crystal or a crystal with similar specifications. Lower values of
ESR and load capacitance and higher values "
But I cant find a crystal with similar specs on ali express or amazon.
On MOUSER I found some relevant options But its delivery cost is much higher than actual crystal.
I would really appreciate if you can suggest me some widely available options.
Best regards,
Zaeem Ahmed

Build a spice simulation of a pierce crystal oscillator Xtal using 16.384 MHz HC49 using 2 20pF external capacitors.
motional parameters ? more unknowns the xtal companies do not give.,
The xtal in circuit is either sufficient or not to run the energy meter chip. 3.3V square wave 16.384MHz
The frequency tolerance is not real high. See page 7.

A mass marketer of everything is not a good choice for specific electronic parts. Their lower sell price is primarily due to not providing one small bit of customer support. Mostly all either one can tell you is shipping weight and price. Often that is not enough.

Who is going to spend 15 minutes on the phone with you for a $0.83 cent part. (then you want only one crystal) There will be 5.00 of shipping. And Digikey makes $0.07.
Mouser makes money because they will put 1000 pieces in a box and ship it with no human involved. They have a good web site with data sheets and a search engine that will help you find the right part. They even have CAD drawings. The day of the salesman is gone.

Mouser is an honest dealer, as is Digikey. I was referencing my negative response to "ali express or amazon ".
Yes, you are right. But I have made a mistake to purchase the CI ade7880 through ali express. Now is there any way I can check if it is original, or at least's works?
Chat gpt suggested to check the voltages on some pins.
"
2.2V on Multiple Pins (CF, IRQ, SDA):

These pins should typically be either high (close to 3.3V) or low (0V), depending on their logic state or configuration.
2.2V is not a normal voltage level for digital logic pins, and it could indicate:
The internal circuitry of the IC is damaged or partially operational, leading to unusual voltage levels.
Some internal short or fault has caused leakage or improper voltage regulation inside the IC.
No Voltage on REFIN/OUT (Pin 17): "
Is this thing can also confirm that my crystal circuitry is good?

If I check the waveform around the crystal legs through crystal legs and it is showing me a good 16.384 Mhz square( which I think might not be that easy) am I good to go?
what could be the acceptable voltage changes and frequency changes should I expect?
In case I generate a square wave of 16.394 Mhz through function generator and feed it to IC just to check if it is working, would that be fine? in case is there still a need to connect capacitors and 5Mohm resistor?

I would not trust chatgpt to ever provide a correct technical answer. The proof will be seen with a scope on the output connection pins.
