    Hi.

    Some years ago, we had a Select - button. It allowed us to select the source code, when the CODE - tag was used.

    What happened to it?

    Yes, but there was a button below the source frame.
    Code (C):
    1. void main(){
    2. while (1) {
    3. // do nothing, just wait
    4. }
    5. }
    6.
    There was a button that said select, and we could select all the source code, and hit CTRL+C, and paste in in wherever we'd like.

    How do you get rid of the line numbers in a Code section?

    That question has been asked before in the thread Small improvement to [CODE] tag.

    I do not know, but as @tjohnson says, quote or hit reply, then the source code shows up in the textbox. Mark and copy from there. No line numbers.

    I wonder what happened to the Select-button, thou...

    @nerdegutta: You don't even need to do that. Just try to mark and copy code within a post. The line numbers shouldn't get selected or copied.

    You are quite right. Thanks.

    But what happened to the button?

    I haven't been a member of the forum long enough to know for sure, but I suspect that the Select button was part of the old vBulletin forum software. I don't know if XenForo supports this feature or not.

    I'll guess you are right. Another thing I miss about the old forum...

    Thanks, it still looks like crap and should be turned off if possible.
